I am proud to offer a unique educational experience designed to enhance intellectual growth, ___ and

ABOUT
I became interested in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages after a trip to the Province of Siem Reap, Cambodia in 2017. My Cambodian guide took us out to dinner at a free vocational school that also provides formal education to over 1,000 children and adults.
I learned that a public-school education ends for most Cambodian children after grade school, the responsibility of continuing a formal education becomes the responsibility of the parents. Most Cambodian parents cannot afford the costs of school, as well as children may need to be at home to mind younger siblings while their parents or older siblings work, or in fact work themselves to support their family.
An education is important, but priorities, such as food and shelter take precedence over education. As a direct result, Cambodians have limited employment opportunities and fall victim to horrific living conditions, e.g. malnutrition, STDs, gangs, and sex trade. Many have no hope for a productive future and died prematurely.
How could I help those in need, I could sponsor a child, family, or donate money, or I could teach English. I’m good at! I can provide students with a quality English education that will keep them in school and play a vital role in breaking the cycle of poverty.
That's my journey!
